The Manor is a family owned business located in the heart of Mid-Wales. First opened in November 2005 with a single ground floor showroom incorporating a range of quality giftware, toys games & puzzles and a select range of solid wood furniture.

Our aim has been to establish a ‘destination’ store. A retail experience seldom found anywhere in the UK let alone in the quiet backwater of Llandrindod Wells. Our philosophy is simple in that we offer only quality products with a depth of choice in our selected specialist areas seldom achieved within a typical shopping experience. Value is key to our offer and we activity compete with all major retailers, supermarkets and catalogue stores such as ARGOS but with the added value of the personal service and flexibility that can only come from a caring family environment.

Our magnificent building was originally built as ‘The Manor Hotel’ circa 1896. Since opening we have completely restored its Victorian elevations reinstating many of the original features that had been lost over years of neglect. Our showrooms now extend over four levels with the prospect of three additional floors to be opened over the next two years.

Our current layout includes an extensive toy and nursery department, a model and crafts department, outdoor toys including go-carts & kites, traditional games including a large Chess selection, quality giftware, occasional lighting and quality cabinet furniture specialising in solid oak and ash. Planned developments over the next two years include a ‘delicious’ Coffee Shop, greetings cards area, a larger nursery department, an expanded Model & Hobby centre, a bed department and a selection of soft furnishings including exciting bedding, cushions and linens.
